Elaine's Baptism Cake

I wanted to make something as sweet and pure as my precious little girl for her baptism. It was a 1/2 wedding white and 1/2 double chocolate fudge cake with vanilla buttercream icing. The cake was all done in cream so that nothing distracted from my little angel on her precious day!

With the birth of my daughter I have a new appreciation for the Disney Princesses and working on this cake made me want to run to my DVD player and watch each and every Disney Princess movie that has ever been made. This cake was so fun to work on, it was done for a family member and was two tiered with both princesses made out of fudgy chocolate cake with traditional vanilla buttercream icing. The tiara on top was a gift to the little princess whose birthday we were celebrating. I think she really enjoyed eating the princesses ;)

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake

If you love rich desserts like I do, then this is a cake for you... It is a buttery yellow cake with chocolate chips throughout and chocolate ganache oozing over the top of it. It is perfect with an extra extra large glass of milk!

Baby Shower Cake

This was my first baby shower cake. I was asked to do one for a girl at work. I got so many oohh's and ahhhs that I just had to share. The cake itself is 1/2 white and 1/2 chocolate. I used buttercream icing to ice it and add the cornelli lace. I made the onesie, blanket, and baby that is under the blanket out of fondant.
